Good question! “Lore” is a tricky term because it can mean different things to different people. I would suggest that it means to Heathens more-or-less what “canon” means to those that follow revealed religions; that is, something like “accepted documents”. Does it matter? I believe that the important part of a samal is in the sharing, not in the direction the horn moves.

This is an outstanding book! Not because the recorded spells represent anything that one would want to try or anything like that, but because it demonstrates how people's beliefs really were at the time of writing rather than the slanted histories we so often read.

Like any other method of healing, some swear by homeopathy and some completely reject it. What works for one person may not work for another. I've tried only a few remedies from this school of thought and they did nothing for me. But I wouldn't go so far as to suggest that someone else shouldn't try...

Maine is a beautiful state. I've often said that I'd really like to live there, but never pursued it because there are so few jobs. However, if there's a job waiting for me--especially one better than what I have now--well, that just changes everything!
