Re: Libertarians

we don't have a true democracy here. We have a democratic republic. The majority can have slavery to their hearts content, but they don't get to vote it into law, because it violates constitution. Or for a more recent example, states barring marriage between homosexuals are finding themselves having...

Re: I do not refer to the Aesir as Gods, what's your take.

Also, a question: is there a collective word for all of the Norse gods? The Æsir seems very specific to me, but perhaps I'm over-complicating things. Æsir just means gods. I know some like to separate them into Æsir and Vanir, but linguistically Áss means "a god" and Æsir is the plural of...

Re: Possiblities

I would need to see more evidence to link the neanderthal interbreeding with homo sapiens and the stories of the north before concluding anything. Anything is possible, but I do not find it likely.

Re: Help with North

I suspect your feelings of anxiety are due to the indoctrination you've had. When I first left christianity, I still had a few hangups leftover(I still thought a pentagram was an evil symbol for example). It will take time to let go of the baggage. I know of one heathen who still believes in a Jesus...
