I agree with your definition of a warrior, and it's usually forgotten that the majority of heathens were not concerned with victory in battle but with basic survival, but of course that wouldn't make as good reading in the sagas. Greetings all! I'm a 50yr old Heathen living in the middle of Lower Michigan. I've been a follower of the Old Ways for almost 15 years now, for the most part in the Norse tradition but recently I have been more drawn to Anglo-Saxon Heathenism. Glad to find this forum!
