Blot or Faining

My wife and I are still in the process of finding the right word to describe the act of giving offering to the various folk(s) but our concept of faining has personally evolved in our household from simply a synonym or subsitute for "blot" into that of a full on party where many things such as "blot", symbel and other events goes on.

I use them both interchangeably I guess but usually say Blot whether correct or not, more out of habit.

When I'm amidst Asatruar, I'll use blot regardless cause that's what they're familiar with.
