Heathen Board

The following are good rules of thumb to be aware of while participating on this board.

1. No spam allowed. Spammers will be removed surreptitiously and expeditiously.

2. Try to remain on topic; derails are frowned upon. Off topic discussions will most likely be moved to it's own thread.

3. Keep it family friendly. Things that are NSFW, or otherwise inappropriate will get you in hot water.

4. In debates/discussions, attack the argument not the person. Personal attacks will not let you win the argument.

5. Copyright infringement will not be tolerated. Don't post articles or photos that aren't yours without permission from the copyright holder.

6. On this board we back up our claims. If you can't back up your claim, don't be surprised if someone challenges you. If this offends you, you might not want to make claims you can't back up.

Some ways to back up your claim:

• Cite peer-reviewed papers
• Cite credible authors/books
• Cite credible manuscripts or translations of manuscripts
• Cite archaeological finds/artifacts
• Post links to any of the above
